Hi there!
A few days ago I found this project on the web....and.....wow!, I'm excited!
To find inspiring, "new"...and especially atmospheric music is one of my hobbies, because music ist my Life!
So I want to say, you made a great job, dear "avantgarde metal" team!!
Some words to my person....
I am 22 and lived in northgermany, in Hamburg. If I hear "non-avantgarde" music, i listen to black&death metal, or sometimes goa. Favourite bands are Kataklysm, Arch Enemy, Opeth, Bloodbath, Alcest, Fursy Tessier's Projects (amesours, les discrets, etc.), Rotting Christ, Imperium Dekadenz, Nargaroth, Death, die apokalyptischen reiter, Emperor, Immortal, Metallica (until the black album), Volbeat, Mercyful Fate, Grand Magus, Septic Flesh, Type O Negative.....and many, many more!
Regards!

Hello I am Santiago, from Montevideo Uruguay..
The avant garde for me is the concept of the total surrealism in the human (and not human) mind.
I listen to extreme and others metal bands too!
Hails!!

Hello everyone,
my name is Michael, I´m from germany but live for one year in brazil to study there. I study biology and I love Metal, especially Technical Death Metal, Black and Progressive stuff and all kinds of atmospheric Metal. I´m also very keen on other types of music being rock, jazz, electronica... Everything that sounds good to my ears! I found your site through surfing and I guess this is my place to discover new music and discuss stuff I like. My favourite bands are Sólstafir, Ulver, Agalloch, Necrophagist, Nile, Wolves in the Throne Room, ...
Hopefully we`ll have some nice discussions!
Cheers

Willkommen Michael
Has no one told you that all new members hailing from or residing in brazil must submit a portfolio with 100 pictures of brazilian beach beauties before being granted access to the forum?
Hope you find some new gems in our humble collection of stories and reviews

Hi you open minded people !!!
I'm a French lover of out of the orinary metal, as well as a web-reviewer (formerly on www.thrashocore.com, and now on www.coreandco.fr - yeah I know, weird sounding names and lots of "core" ...)
I'm especially into Ufych (Sormeer), Pin-Up Went Down, Whourkr, Stolen Babies, Mr Bungle, Carnival in Coal, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Vladimir Bozar, Devin Townsend, Iwrestledabearonce, Igorrr ... And lots of more extreme and classic metal bands.
I'm here to discover new, unheard and exciting metal music.
By the way, 2 of the last great bands I've discovered: Circus of Dead Squirrels (from USA) and City Weezle (from France)

Hello from the gutter!
I'm Åsa, with the additional psuedonym "Septikemi" (that - if you're curious - is swedish for "septicemia" which is the presence of pathogenic organisms in the bloodstream, leading to sepsis but is supposted have the origin in latin for "rotten blood"...bla bla bla)
So yeah, I'm swedish and almost 28 years olf. I'm also a biologist, currently enrolled in a PhD (insects, genes, enzymes and chemicals - 'nuff said). I have been interested in metal since adolescence, black/death/thrash/doom/potato/potaato...but with an ear and an eye open for potential deviations! Gorgoroth have always been one of my fav's (for nostalgic reasons but I have high hopes for Infernus and co since the latest album), as well as Electric Wizard, Aura noir, Enslaved, Kongh, Sarkom, Sunn O))), Nile, among many. I like music and metal, basically!
